Montessori-Inspired India Unit Study For Toddlers And Preschoolers

I am very excited to share our Montessori Inspired India Themed Unit Study along with FREE Printables. For this Independence Day i set up India themed activities for my toddler.

First we talked about tri-color national flag



This is for Fine Motor Skill, we made Indian flag using Popsicle stick and clothe pin.



Then we studied about National Attributes of India


Then we studied about Famous monuments of India


Then some sequencing activity

Language and literacy:


Then we did some sorting activity with currencies of India


Foam India puzzle


We matched some mandala designs to their printable cards. Such a great Visual Discrimination Activity.


For Censorial Activity, we did some matching activity with famous spices of India (Ground with Whole). My toddler smelled all the ground spices and matched it to the whole spices.



Then we studied about Temples of India, Dances of India,People of India,Indian classical and folk dances,Dams of India.
